Among Lancaster county's oldest and largest Amish-owned and operated grocery store enterprises, Pleasant Valley Country Store offers a distinctive selection of bulk foods, herbs, vitamins, organic products, groceries, cheese, meats, and more. The store also features a deli that makes fresh subs and sandwiches and a bakery that produces fresh daily donuts and fry pies. Shoppers will find kitchen gadgets, housewares, children's activity books, and religious books among the many other items available.
Known for its exceptional prices, the store invites customers to explore its vast bulk food section. Please note that the store uses natural lighting, making it appear darker on cloudy days. The store does not accept credit cards; however, checks (with proper ID) and cash are welcome.
Operating hours reflect Amish customs, including a non-observance of Daylight Savings Time, so be sure to account for this when planning your visit.

For directions, from PA Rt. 372 in Quarryville, head south on PA Rt. 472 through Kirkwood, then turn left onto Sproul Road. The store is just 1/2 mile down on the left.
